‘Addams Family’: Voice Cast Announced

‘Addams Family’ goes animated, being inspired by the look of Charles Addams’ famous ‘New Yorker’ cartoons, and is set to follow the Addams family as they face off against a crafty reality TV host, while also preparing for their extended family to arrive for a major celebration.

As much as we love the old and classic cast of ‘Addams Family’, as much we are not disappointed by the new voice cast for our favorite creepy characters!

Gomez Addams, played by Oscar Isaac:

Morticia Addams, played by Charlize Theron:

Wednesday Addams, played by Chloë Grace Moretz:

Pugsley Addams, played by Finn Wolfhard:

Uncle Fester, played by Nick Kroll:

Grandmama, played by Bette Midler:

Margaux Needler (the family’s arch-nemesis), played by Allison Janney, although we still don’t know how her character will look like:

And we don’t know who will voice Lurch and his grunts…

‘Sausage Party’ directorial duo Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan are overseeing the film, working from a script that Matt Lieberman wrote based off of Charles Addams’ famous cartoons:
“Greg and I have always been a fan of the Addams Family in past versions, so when we set out to make this movie, we were excited to do something new. With that in mind, I drew from the brilliantly original Charles Addams New Yorker cartoons for the look of the film and decided to tell the story of how Gomez and Morticia meet, find their house and start their family,” says Vernon. “This unique approach is what drew me in to direct the film. The reimagining also extends to the stellar cast we’ve put together who will each bring their own spin to our film that will appeal to longtime fans of the Addams and introduce them to a new generation.”

The film has been dated for release on October 11, 2019.
